Where we come from
Toro Soñador was born at the crossroads of two worlds — the sun-baked West and the rain-fed green of Costa Rica — and raised on a love of small wonders. We're makers, readers, and incurable wanderers who set up a little workshop where good craft and a pinch of fortune-telling could share the same table.
What we make
Every piece in our shop is made by hand in Montréal, with care and a little stubbornness. We work with metal, stone, leather, and natural things that age with dignity. Nothing is mass-produced. Nothing is disposable. Nothing has a twin.
We make slow things in a fast world — and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Why Toro Soñador?
Toro Soñador — the dreaming bull — is our patron and our mascot: a stubborn, grounded creature who still can't help reaching for something just past the horizon. That tension lives in everything we make and every card we turn.
